| This bracelet started as 5 humble spheres of coral and some simple sterling wire! Each medallion is crafted in the age-old technique of filigree; all created by hand. I carefully twisted, flattened, and then shaped the wires into delicate loops and swirls that tantallize your eyes. Then I permanently soldered them for strength and stability. Next, I added the sterling balls (which I formed earlier) and linked the entire bracelet together. The natural red coral beads are the perfect last touch, and give an old-world feel to the intricate design (almost Spanish, don't you think?). You'll love the comfortable feel and weight (the medalions have been slightly curved for a divinely comfortable fit), and there is an adjustable hand-wrought hooking clasp and extra links for just the right fit. |
